For sale is a Remington 700 chambered in 7mm-08. Action is a G-prefix action that has been trued by Titan Long Range Weapons in Ft. Worth, TX. Bolt is a one-piece Pacific Tool & Gauge bolt with M-16 extractor, teardrop tactical bolt handle and lugs have been lapped. Bolt includes a new Gre-tan firing pin assembly and bolt shroud. Rifle includes a Remington 20" mountain contour barrel that was headspaced upon installation. Both the action and barrel have been cerakoted tungsten. Rifle sits in a new Remington walnut stock with factory recoil pad (not sure who makes them for Remington) and 13 1/2" LOP. The stock has not been bedded or modified. BDL bottom metal assembly has the matte/SPS finish with a milled follower. Rifle has approximately 60 rounds fired. My fish scale shows a weight of 6 lbs - 12 oz with the scope/bases (Leupold VX3i and Talley rings/bases). $950 + shipping (no trades). A Timney 510 trigger can be included for $100 in place of the included standard X-Mark trigger, but won't sell the trigger separately unless the rifle sells first. Scope and rings/bases not included or for sale.
LOP? Make of recoil pad? Weight of just the rifle? Is the action bedded?
I added comments above to the original posting, but answers are as follows:
13.5" Factory Remington recoil pad. Not sure who makes them. 6 lbs - 12 oz with the scope. Not going to take scope off to weigh just the rifle. Action is not bedded
It consistently shot .9" to 1" 5-shot groups at 100 yds with 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tips and IMR 4350 powder. Did not experiment with any other bullets.
