I just scoped up my BL-22 with a Leupold 4x28 rimfire which fits very nicely but the hammer is very difficult to manipulate so I would like to add a hammer extension. I've seen a few different makes, any recommendations and are the all ambidextrious? I'm a southpaw.

I see this is an old post. This is an interesting topic though.
I’ve had a BL22 myself since the early 80’s. Never had a scope on it however.
Might be worth an email to Browning to seek their advice on a lever extension.

Anyone else got hammer extension links. Not sure if I got the right Northwest Gun works, but their site didn't have anything regarding hammer extensions for the BL-22.

Midway shows the GrovTec BL-22 hammer extension in stock.

Or a scope that does not hinder one's functions.

I can run this while wearing boxing gloves.

I may have one I'll check. Most I have are uncle mikes.
