Just picked one up, have been using an old Lyman beam scale for the 20+ years that I have been reloading. I did some research and "hemmed and hawed" over going electronic for a long time. I'm going to be unboxing the Hornady Auto Charge Pro after the Holidays, does anyone have/use one of these and are you happy with it? Any tips for use or quirks this unit has?Thanks in advance,

I have one and so does my son in law , and they work good for us
I have seen alot of gripes about them throwing over charges , but you an cure that by taking the time to fine tune the dump speed , trickle speed , and time of the trickle mode.....IME
and your final setting will also depend upon the type of powder you are dumping

Thank you for the info sd. I am excited to break it out, but with any new piece of technology, I have always found I learn a lot more from folks who have actually used the product than from the user manual,  . Rich

and your final setting will also depend upon the type of powder you are dumping What are your settings for something like an imr stick powder? Do you do the soda straw mod?
