OP ctw Campfire Tracker C Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 4,918	Well made a little progress on her today , fit the barrel to the action no chamber no cartridge guide or extractor cut but a little closer. Looks pretty heavy but the large bore relieves weight not really to forward heavy. Haven’t decided how long to finish at yet. Roy when I said would either be a rotor or a single shot this is what I meant might wind up A ss 99? Purchased a fixture to secure the action to a mill table for the snap ring cut I hope. The process took about 5 hours and is less than perfect but runs out like a laser in the lathe. Guessing is close to a 5 contour What you have done is not nearly as important as how you have done it!!! The Old Fart 2008 A.D.

A leupold base that the rear reing screws were not square to the point it was easily visable with the naked eye. First I had seen that. I figured Roy would beet me to it with a rebored rifle?
