Buy your corn in 55gal drums pre-season. Extra points if they’re all mismatched and rusty. Down to barrel #16 of 19 here. Deer have all but switched to NVG mode now though. Bags shore are convenient to haul to feeder. I’ve done the barrels before. Even had the idea of getting a deal on a super sack of corn. ~ ton. Tore the bastard unloading off it trailer. Had every bucket o could find stack in my shop with corn in it. 2 barrels and 3 garbage cans. 😂

Ha! Had a buddy get a freebie-deal on a torn super-sack of rice bran. After F-ing with for an evening and getting coated in the stuff, he said screw it and went back to 50lb sacks at the feed store.

Always wondered why folks in areas where food plots work don't plant tulips, lilac bushes, ground cover flowers, roses, squash, punkins, etc in their food plots.
They sure are popular deer food out here.

I've seen punkins sit and rot under a deer stand while corn and beans got destroyed nightly. Guy was a crop adjuster so he had endless accessibility to corn and beans. Punkins got completely ignored.

They “didnt see anything” was the message dialog I got.
Which is typical. They wander around sky-lining themselves on the ridge roads. Deer can see them for hundreds of yards through acres upon acres of mature oaks.

He sits in for Mark Mason on a local afternoon talk show I tune into once in a while when I'm in my pickup around that time. The older I get the less tolerant I am of libtard attitudes, and unfortunately he is almost as bad as Mason.
