... I learned my tracking skills from an uncle that was part Indian trust me on this.. Damn that was funny! Yea it is funny., But I like the way that no matter what anyone says, there will be some azzhole waiting to try to ridicule you. most of them are still living in their mommys basement.. and don't have a clue what life is about.. they are cowards that use the inner net to hide behind trying to make them self look important. they are actually retard stupid azzholes so kiss off m--ther F--ker.

The only thing I have learned for sure is that deer are totally unpredictable as to what they will do after being shot. I like to break shoulder with a muzzleloader when I can to anchor them if possible. Due to their lower velocity, muzzleloaders tend to kill by tissue damage and not by shock.

I kill a couple every year with a ML. Many times I just have to search till I find the deer. Fortunately the 2 I killed this year bled. Raring up like someone else said is probably a low forward hit.

If he is injured good enough, he will bed down, just takes a few minutes to bleed out. I would look for him after about 30 minutes, like was mentioned, coyotes will tear him apart.
