Never needed my own knife in good restaurants. If I am eating a steak at the yacht club or the elks with plastic silverware my buck pocket knife gets used. Pretty simple really.

It would appear that it is time for another best steakhouse thread.

And another on the best Katana to take for Kobe steaks. It should be properly sanitized and beware of flaming homos! Is that why they call it Sizzler? Great thread and very educational.

Next thing you know you'll be smuggling homemade jam into restaurants.

I've used my Buck folder before when the restaurant knife was too crappy. Does that count?

Probably a better option than bringing a steak to a knife fight.

Science has proven that the steak knife is a gateway leading to bib overalls, velcro shoes and cheap buffets.

Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.

One leads to another.

Eat the cheap buffet. Needs bigger britches. Can’t bend over to tie shoes.

I have the chef come to our table to cut our steaks for us while he explains the selection and care of our meat when it was in living form.

Anything else would be uncivilized.

I took my own blue cheese dressing to a wingers once for ayce sticky fingers. My cousins met me there and were making fun of me until the first round came out. Then they were all saying this wingers blue cheese dressing sucks, pass me some of your chunky lighthouse.
