might be the perfect varmit or bug out...Brno savage 22hp/12ga, is a little heavy, have pic but can't master the pic post.Ken

you mean one of these, the only down side is the lack of .228 bullets but I have enough 55gr Buffalo Arms 228's and loaded S&B 70gr to get me by. Even better when you have a set of 12ga barrels to go with it.

thats it, I have been hoarding for years, been shooting the savage 1899 22hp, found ten bx's of hornady in mom & pop shop a couple yrs ago. 70gr

My Brno ZH will not chamber Savage 22 hp. Tried with my reloads from reformed 30-30 brass and with a Savage factory load and it’s a no go. These chamber and fire fine from my Savage 1899 model H. For the ZH I have no problem with the Sellier & Bellot 5.6x52R factory ammunition. Using RCBS 22 hp dies I reload the fired Sellier &Bellot cases with a .228 cast bullet in the ZH. Best to start with 5.6x52R ammo or brass for the ZH.
I really like my Brno ZHs, looking at a Valmet 412 in that chambering now.
