The only tools now days that are not made in China are Festool some Dewalt drills and perhaps a few others. I will take tools made in Japan and Taiwan all day long over China. Nobody locally was any help as they wanted to sell service (which I understand). $40 online for 4 new bearings, tensioner/pully and a belt, and a few hours of my time and it's back up and running. Part are off-brand of unknow quality but the Wife wanted it fixed el-pronto. It does get a lot of use but my folks are still running a 30 year old Kenmore dryer. Last edited by SockPuppet; 01/02/21.
