I’m not sure where the cutoff is on the recall. I filled out an online form and submitted my serial number. They contacted me about 7 days later stating it was in the recall. I believe I got my rifle in August but not sure when manufactured. Basically, not only can I not answer your question I’m no help either!😂

No worries. Thanks for the information you provided.

IIRC, they said everything made in 2020 (and later naturally) has the upgraded works. The trigger guards have a little dimple on the underside. Of course the trigger pull should also be a clue. One of mine originally was pretty heavy, the other very heavy, as was the hammer-cocking effort. Both came back from Henry with nice pulls.
I took the .410 in to get the rail installed. My smith told me he had another with an awful pull he was going to try to fix. He thought the recalled pull on mine was very nice.
What fresh Hell is this?

I'd be interested in these, even a 12 ga. They don't seem to be available many places and they are expensive.

I’m glad to see the interest in these rifles. I am kinda wanting a 30-30 Henry SS to go with the 357 now. Think I could make good use of it!

I'd be interested in these, even a 12 ga. They don't seem to be available many places and they are expensive. I haven’t seen any on GB for under $400 lately, but they’re much nicer guns than the old H&Rs, (but lack the ability to swap out barrels). Compare the price to other .357 rifles and they look pretty competitive. Scads of rifles and shotguns on GB, mostly under $500.
