absolutely stupid to send us any money. You are supposed to be prepared for times like this.

Its a waste of our money to send money out. And so what if we get more money, its going to cost us probably at least 5X in taxes in the future.

Don't need this. We work for a living.

this is just another thing trying to control us. And to think that conservatives buy into it....

I don't get stimulus checks..............

This is how OUR .gov works.
They had 8-9 months knowing that this 'stimulus/cares' money was going to be sent.
Should it be 'needs' based? YES
Does everyone need it? NO
Has my family been financially impacted by COVID-19? YES
Do we need $600 or $2,000 each? NO

It's conjured into existence by debt creation, i.e., a few key strokes bring it into existence. That's how it's mostly done nowadays. Of course, currency creation like that increases everyone's prices, i.e., dilutes the value of every dollar in existence in relation to goods and services, i.e., makes everyone poorer. That, of course, only affects the middle and lower classes, as inflation is basically meaningless to the wealthy.

The government determined I am too rich to help stimulate the economy.

What does not make sense is the blanket checks sent to every American, I feel I am the minority here but how are the people that are retired or not working financially harmed to the extent they need compensated with a stimulus check?.

exactly. the way I look at it is this. its not "socialism" its money being returned to me that was taken without my permission

My wife and I agree . We are retired and not wanting for anything.
At least this time we only got $205.00.
Last we put the money away and ended up giving it to one of my brothers who could really use a little extra.
