On the topic of bad booze, I scored the last two 25oz cans of Mang-O-Rita (8%) grocery shopping this evening. It always sells out first, leaving the Strawberry-Rita (clearly a woman’s drink) to sell out next which leaves the Cranberry-Pineapple stuff. Gonna have to shop on Tuesday more often. All of the above “taste like poverty and despair” as someone here put it  but are better’n Seltzers.

Years ago, my doctor told me I needed more Vitamin C, so I started putting a splash of OJ in my BV. (It's not too bad, BTW.) Sometime later due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to quit drinking hard stuff - but still enjoyed a cold brew or two after work. Doc tells me I need to reduce my carb intake, so I switch to WC. Then doc says I need to watch my sugars... What's a guy to do? (I'm interviewing new doctors next week.  )

I've tried all the other seltzers, and keep coming back to Claws. All the other ones leave a chemical aftertaste. I can't warm up to the truly's, the the lemon or lemonade ones ain't too bad. The Costco ones make the cut, only because they are half the price.
