Many years ago I could not cash a check in Omaha Alaska check the answer they gave me only US money, could not convince her otherwise.

We ship a lot of USPS. It's slow right now, but not defunct. I'm guessing the "no ship to Alaska" thing was an isolated error. I take multiple packages there several times per week, almost all labeled with Click-n-ship. They are always swamped and C19 has hurt them a lot.

I'm not shipping to or from AK but I have a gun that's been vacationing for weeks now at the Springfield, MA distro center. My local Postmaster told me to ask the BATF where its at. The USPS is in a sad state of affairs right now. I wonder if they're too big to fail? I'd enjoy seeing Jeff Bezos buy and manage it. Seems anyone could run it better.

Just picked up 2 flat rate boxes from Spamtown Mn. One mailed 12/14 and one 12/17..... Won't open till Christmas.

I sent a small flat rate from Wyoming to Juneau on the 9th. It’s still in transit. And I got it, ofcourse the box was ripped open and half of the contents were missing. I did get the [bleep] you letter in the bag with it though. I'm amazed it made it. Our postal service employees here can't read or speak English really well so I guess I need to make a diversity exception for them .

UPS & Fed Ex to Alaska twice the cost and half the service!
My complaint was USPS employee would not ship to Alaska never complained about USPS service here which has been stellar.
