I ask a similar q. on the hunting rifle thread.. But are you doing your normal shooting.. We have shot handguns a number of times.. As much as I normally do? I would say no.. I was talking to a good friend and he was loading some 10mm's.. He told me he had about 500 loaded, but had not shot any because he was afraid he couldn't get more bullets, etc.. How about the rest of you???

Almost none... but I am going to start with the 15k 22's I have sat on for a few years.

I've been shooting off my carry rounds every 2 weeks and replacing them. At that rate I'll need to find their replacements in about 5 months or go to using ball ammo for carry

I've been shooting up ~100 rounds a week of .22 rimfire, between handgun and rifle

Gave away 2 boxes of bulk Remington Golden bullet in the last week. We owe it to ourselves to keep the young guys shooting

Yes, actually more lately with these two Bisley's since I cast and roll my own 41 and 45 LC as well as a large supply of Blue Dot on hand for shot shell reloading.

I have pretty much adapted a “if I can’t replace it, I don’t shoot it “ stance lately.

I plan on shooting soon, waiting on the weather to break! memtb

The wet and windy winter weather always causes an annual slowdown.

That said, definitely not putting 150-200 rounds of 9mm downrange every Wednesday morning as was my routine up until last Spring sometime.

Still getting out to shoot .22's and .38 Spl's, some .357's, the former rationed to 2-3 boxes per session and the latter to maybe 50-75 rounds per session, that depends on how much I have loaded up and whether more casting is needed.

Haven't randomly blasted tons of ammo downrange since I was a kid so trying to make each shot count serves to naturally conserve ammo.

Of course not. Can't replace the ammo. I used to shoot two or three hundred rounds of 9mm a week. Now it's about that a month, or every other month.

Still shooting weekly, but mainly .22 and black powder.

Interesting situation isn’t it. My situation was my gun range got shut down for about 10 months Covid and legal issues. Bad side few thousand rounds loaded up wasn’t able to shoot. Upside still got all them rounds and what was purchased to replace them. Right now rimfires are the game.

I shoot 100 rounds of 44 mag every weekend, reloads though so it's affordable!

I have parked the semi-autos, short of my rimfires, enjoying my Smith and Ruger 10's, 44's and 45's. Thinking about it I need to drag out the 41's as I have plenty of stuff to feed them. That said, the 22's are always enjoyable and my range added a steel rimfire area that is a bunch of fun.

Not as much lately, chitty weather and dealing with a sick family member.
Still have plenty of components and rimfire. Just need better weather and some time.
The range I frequent has slowed down considerably due to ammo shortage. The Christmas gift crowd is pretty much gone.

Not shooting at anything remotely close to the same frequency or quantity as a few months ago.

Not even close to the usual amount.
I do shoot some every week, just not as often or as much.
