LH Model 70s are scarce or overpriced, are there any other actions that are close to the M70 foot print in a Left Hand action? The Montana is close and the Dakota is a possibility but both are scarce too. Have not contacted Mausinfield yet.

Mausongfield is all Rem 700 footprint and trigger. Lots of money for it.

Maybe I’m not reading exactly right but is the situation that you have a left hand model 70 stock you really like and now are trying to find an action to fit that?

Yes I fitted a stock and then found one with better wood so have an extra I want to use.

MRC action recoil lug needs relief, bolt stop release and tang is a little different. That said I won't own another MRC. But you can fit a Winchester stock to
a MRC action. Did a few of them when CDNN was selling Win LH stocks.
