Price gouging refers to when retailers and others take advantage of spikes in demand by charging exorbitant prices for necessities, often after a natural disaster or other state of emergency. ... In most states, price gouging is set as a violation of unfair or deceptive trade practices law.

I don't really have anything to say. I was glad to get Speer Gold Dot for $1/round a month ago. Now I see it's $1.50/Rd if available. And I ain't sellin'.

Some people are jealous and either don't have the ammo to sell or just won't sell. A lot of folks could sell half their ammo and still have more than they'd ever need and just can't bring themselves to do so. I figure something is worth what it cost me to replace it.

74 million voters got ripped off. That's a fact.

If someone didn’t stock up after the last panic, they should probably take up golf.

I have a hard time understanding the gouging thing. If I buy an item for $1 and put it for sale for $10 and a buyer comes along and buys....happily....glad to get it....the buyer got gouged, happily, but gouged just the same. If I put the same $1 item on an auction, start it at $.01 knowing it will bring much, much more, and the same happy buyer bids it up to and buys it for $10 did the buyer still get gouged, happily or otherwise?

It's confusing. Never mind.....

Likely way more than 74 million of us got ripped off.

But in the context of the quoted post, who got ripped off?
