I saw this a couple days ago and then forgot to post it. Hopefully this does not pass, ever!

Has to be ratified by 34 states to become law. Good luck with that!

100 years later, they still do not have the Equal Rights Amendment.

Personally I would think that if we are in fact 'united states', each state should have an equal voice in electing the President.

One vote per state.

If there is a tie, the winner is determined by a marksmanship challenge/contest.

The agenda needs to get back on track, making up for the four lost Trump years.

Actually, it's 38 states. 50 x .75 = 37.5, rounded up to 38. 13 small states say no and it's dead.
It needs 2/3 of both houses before it gets that far.

There's no way 38 states are going to give up that much power. There will always be at least 13 states who would like their population to have a say in electing the President rather than letting New York and California dictate it.

We will never have another honest election in this country without a revolution 2.0 regardless.

I fear you are correct and that the anal sex under Obama has begun again already, in earnest.

I like that idea, if the contest is among the general population of the states!

Explain that opinion, please; it looks like pure moronic B.S. to me.

........... Precisely; and getting rid of the electoral college has been on their most wanted list for years. In typical Lib fashion it will have to be quickly rammed through because it's so important to our democracy, or some other such B.S. like "it's an emergency".

I don't mean it in any hostile context.

I do think it would be a good thing. It would give every politician a personal stake in being practiced with firearms.

It would also strengthen one of our rights specified in our Constitution.

I don't think the electoral college is even constitutionally up for grabs. It was part of the deal (the Constitution as written) territories made with the government when they became states. It seems even at the time there was a distrust with government.

What does constitutionality have to do with anything the libs do?

True that but something like that you would expect at least a big debate and the Supreme court involved.

We should all see now that the electoral college is no longer a hindrance. There's no need to bother with getting rid of it.
