I gotta say the hype is real. For 640 bucks I cant see how you could get a better binocular. I really wanted the 10x50's but didn't want to wait so opted for the 12's.
I think my next purchase wi be their spotter.

I spent a lot of time with the Tract Toric binocular last fall and was very impressed
have zero intrest in their spotter as it only comes angled

I have been very impressed also. Have the 12.5's which replaced my Swaro 15x SLC's and also the 8x which compare very favorably to my Zeiss Classics.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

I have the 10x42 and made my monarch 7s look like entry level. Love my tracts
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I’ve got the 8, 10 and 12.5. Impressed with all. Compared to tier 1 glass, the lower power Tracts perform better because of light gathering. All of the Tracts are the best buy I’ve ever found. IMO, you’ve got to spend 2.5x the money to better them. My 10s and 12.5 were on sale/or were demos which is how I rationalized the expenditures....:)

I own both angled and straight spotting scopes. They both have their place. On a windy ridge where you’re trying to stay low, I’d pick the angled every time. For a window mount, a straight every time. For many things they both work well enough. Using the aiming window, aligning the lens becomes second nature after using a while. Just my .02.

Well I can say now that these binoculars are the real deal. Just got done with an aoudad hunt and they were great. I spotted every aoudad first out of the three of us. They were great.
