There is a misnomer here that there is some legitimate form of government left at the federal level, and that that legitimate government is adrift in a swamp of corruption. This is wrong. The entire federal (and much of the State and local) apparatus is utterly corrupt. They are ALL guilty of treason, either through direct action or through aiding and abetting traitors. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

Unfortunately, I think you are right.

It has taken on a life of it's own with & the "country", meaning We, The People, have no real control at all over any of it.

Very little left to salvage of the system in place. Too big to dismantle now.

No reason to dismantle it or attempt to salvage. Its individual parts are just as broken and dysfuntional as the whole is. At best, it is fertilizer for what can come later, and a warning for the future for how every government is corruptible.

With politics being a career, a swamp is the obvious consequence.

Kill the suits. This country was build by men in homespun and leather, jeans and boots. Only thing men in suits have done is steal it blind and pimp it to every piece of schit in the world. Men with soft hands and no character. We take those who should have been culled from our society and place them in positions of authority and power. And wonder why we lose America.
