OP foxrun New Member F Joined: Dec 2020 Posts: 15 Upstate	I'm thinking about buying new wood for my Stevens 22-410, how compatible is the Savage 24 series rifle to the Stevens? The buttt stock is very rough and the forarm is tenite, not a great mix. Any problems involved with a replacement set? Thanks. It's still the Tappan Zee

RGB New Member R Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 21 Vancouver, WA	Not sure about the 24, but I replaced the tenite stock and forearm on my 22-410 with the wood from an old Stevens/Savage 20 ga. single shot I had. Not sure what model it was, but the stock bolted right on. I had to swap the forearm hardware from the tenite to the wood and then it fit just fine. The wood forearm is a bit wider though.
