I'm already pretty well off, but my friends tend to have more money than I do. If I "struck it rich", they'd probably feel relieved that they didn't have to slum with me anymore.

As my life has progressed and I have been more successful I have had to leave some friends behind. Ones that I thought were true friends but instead of being happy for me and helping me celebrate my successes they turned jealous and petty. Life is too short to put up with that BS or let them hold you back. I am much happier with a smaller better quality circle.

And if rich spolied inheritance baby types gravitated towards me because I became rich.

Yeah I know they ain't really necessary the far less the better!.. but some cant cope well without them.... kinda sad.
