Looking for differences between the Meopro and the newer Optika6 . I have a 3x18x56mm optika6 and love it. Thinking of buying another one and would like to know the difference in the two. Thanks guys.

Meopro are 1" and more of a hunting scope and classic look
Optika 6 are 30mm tube and geared more toward LR shooting and dialing . also many don't like their looks .
That said , you can use them for what you like

Actually the Optika 6 is a Meopro. At least that what they say on the 3 I have. They are larger, 6 power zoom, and are heavier for the most part. Optically I see no difference between the two lines.

Cool this is what i was i been looking for. Kind of of strange the Optika6 is lots cheaper but heavier for sure.

I have a few “standard” meopro, mostly 4-12x50, 4.5-14x44, etc. and one Optika6. My Optika6 is a 4.5-27x50. They are completely different animals. I find my meopros to be slightly brighter and I don’t think they are the same glass/coatings based on my comparisons. On my Optika6, I find myself rarely going above about 16x because it loses clarity fast. I actually just bought its replacement. It’s just too heavy and bulky for me and I absolutely hate the exposed windage when hunting. It has its place for sure, just not on my hunting rifle.

I just got an Optika6 3-18x56 from Doug. Optically it seems very good. Mine has the BDC reticle and both windage and elevation knobs are capped. It is heavier than some brands, but has the reputation for durability--an important factor.

I didn’t take the time to look it up but I’m pretty sure Doug has posted the Optika 5 & 6 line is an inferior scope to the Meopro in regards to glass quality.

One has apparently been discontinued, so keep that in mind if you prefer the former.

Doug told me the optics of the Optika6 would not be disappointing if I used and liked VX3i.

Meopro is being phased out . That’s straight from Meopta . I’m surprised BMAN hasn’t chimed in here yet.

There is just so much over styled ugliness on the Optika scopes from Meopta. I don't know what's worse, the enormous techno texturing on the power ring and turrets or the gratingly off putting hideousness of that blue ring on the objective. Who asked for that? I have over ten Meopta scopes, most of them Meopros and love them. The Optika 5 and 6 are just too ugly for me to consider. They just look like clamshell packaged Walmart garbage. Whoever decided to make a sow's ear out of Meopta's otherwise excellent optics needs to be unemployed

Was sighting in a NIB Optika 1-6x 24mm R2D2 reticle and Goat fhuqk turrets yesterday,on a beloved Hummer Garrow Gasser and a pard who was along with me said it succinctly..."FHUQK that piece of schit!". Hint. LAUGHING! Funniest part is,there isn't a B&C flip up made big enough,to fit the ocular(1.860" diameter). Looked like it might rain this AM at daylight,so it never came close to making the fhuqking cut ala OEM bikini bullschit and I rolled Old RELIABLE and 1-6x HD MQ instead. Hint. The initial one wouldn't track, repeat or hold zero and this one is just as "good". To Meopta's credit, they replaced the first one,but they are simply fhuqking useless in the Outdoors. Hint......................

That's a dumb decision on Meopta's part. There's no telling how many Zeiss Conquests they churned out. IMO, the Meopro is the best bang for the buck hunting scope out there. I guess they are following the trend of focusing on the tacti-cool market. The Optikas seem mighty heavy to not have repeatable adjustments. And then there's that occular that needs another ring size higher to accommodate.
