Good evening to you sir, I hope the day went mostly according to plan and those in your world who matter to you are healthy.

While I'm not sure these can be found south of the medicine line, should any of us ever be allowed to cross again for whatever reason and any of you good folks drift northwards and you like Cheeto's etc.

Might I humbly suggest you give these a try.

They are a bit crunchier than Cheetos in texture with a sharp cheddar flavor.

Anyways "food for thought" and all that that double entendre might mean on a thread about food, no?

All the best to you folks down south slumlord.

Dwayne

Ketchup potato chips are reason enough to stay out!

I do like All Dressed though.

Jim;
Good evening to you my cyber friend, I hope life is going more or less according to plan at the Conrad ranch and all in your fine family are well.

Once again I must predicate this with the belief we'll all get to travel again someday, but should you drift northwards on a farm machinery mission, the Canadian Tire Stores now have Franks brand chips - usually a fairly big bag for a Toonie.

Their All Dressed is pretty good, not the same quality as Lays All Dressed mind you sir, but about half the price or twice as many for the same price.

Our eldest daughter, my usual hunting partner likes Ketchup chips and believes they're, well all that and a bag of chips as they say up here somewhere.... After hunting season however Jim, any leftover ketchup chips get donated to her house where she and her husband can have them.

Still being me, I keep the All Dressed, because, well because Jim....

All the best to you and your family Jim.

Dwayne

Thanks for the tip Dwayne.

Since I was a little kid...I have liked dipping my chips in ketchup.

Upon crossing the border and finding Ketchup chips in a bag....I was very excited to try them.

I was not a fan.

Do they make a ketchup/mustard/black pepper/Tabasco version?

That's what I mix up on my plate for my fries. Why not on tater chips.

Valsdad;
Good evening to you sir, I hope that you as well had a day as decent as possible and all in your sphere of influence are well.

While I've not heard of that particular combination, one never knows what the clever folks will make up and then fiendishly put in the checkout line to entice us to buy and try.

At the Can Tire stores, the Franks brand has flavored popcorn as well as several unique flavors of chips like Korean BBQ - along with regular BBQ of course - and the Ketchup and All Dressed.

Besides the All Dressed, my go to is Turkey Stuffing chips. So help me they taste like real turkey stuffing and who doesn't like stuffing?

Well not me obviously, I love stuffing and apparently am somewhat addicted to turkey stuffing.....

But once again I digress and Hawkins Cheezies are definitely worth a try, but so are Franks Turkey Stuffing chips too... I need to get to town again some year. wink

All the best to you all.

Dwayne

If I ever make it to BC I'm going to look into those things Dwayne, although I'm not a big chip eater. I generally prefer good old pretzels.

We had a great winter day here, after the freezing fog burned of it managed to get over 50F (10 C for you northern types). After a trip to town for a couple of things, a short nap, we took the dogs on a 2.3mile walk before sunset, when the temperature started to plummet. Didn't seem much like winter. Green grass is starting to pop up. Likely my darn trees and shrubs will start budding out just as we get a day or two of negative temperatures.
