When I see bidders with 1 or fewer ratings, I suspect they are shills or scammers.

That 270 was a beautiful rifle. The selling price may bring some other ones out of closets and safes.

That 270 was a beautiful rifle. The selling price may bring some other ones out of closets and safes. No doubt about that. Just noticed the same seller of the ss 270 listed a lh ss in 30-06. With bids like that, I'd be tempted to list my lh ss 270 too!

These auctions make it difficult to use my m70 donors. Crazy prices when you think about it. I have a really nice 270 win that I’m getting ready to turn into a 9.3x62 but tempted to sell.

Also have 2 LH "classic sporters". 30-06 and 7mmRem mag.
Trouble is, Dad got me the 06 and wife the7mag.
I too, was thinking of turning the 06 into a 9.3!
You go first so I can piggy back off your trials and success!
