. . . . . do you need at the inauguration of the “most popular Presidential candidate in American history after the most secure election in history?”

A million soldiers are not enough for nancy to feel and need to be in total control.

As many as 25,000 National Guard troops will be in Washington, D.C., for President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration next week, the Army confirmed on Friday.
The Defense Department authorized up to 25,000 service members — an increase of 5,000 from numbers confirmed earlier this week — to support the “federal law enforcement mission and security preparations” in the inauguration, as led by the Secret Service, according to an Army statement.

There's a clue there, somewhere.

All the pictures I’ve seen are of “armed” soldiers with no magazines. I’m sure it wouldn’t take long to slap a fresh mag in the empty rifle but without a magazine and ammo armed doesn’t mean much. 😉
It’s probably not a good idea to give 25,000 weekend warriors a loaded automatic rifle to wander around the nation’s capital. 😂. The force would be reduced by 30% by the 20th from accidental discharges.

To put it in context:
10x the number we still have in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Thank you, Donald Trump.

The day of the inauguration will be a sad day in American history. Sad because a US president feels the need to surround himself with soldiers to keep the people away. Even more sad because it might actually be necessary. Sad because the outgoing President is still pouting and willing to put his feelings ahead of the needs of the nation. Sad because perhaps a man who is least capable of any person ever will be inaugurated. I have lived through some inaugurations which were less than thrilling and some which were disappointing (like Jimmy Carter and Slick Willie), but I've never imagined one as depressing as this. Surely, "Bad Moon Rising" will be the theme song for this event. GD

The libs, dims, progressives, socialists have been outplaying the conservatives, etc from the beginning of the Trump administration. The swamp controls most everything in the media, the bureaucracy, at the federal level and state levels, and local. level. I'd bet the left-wing wants to start or give the appearance of a shooting revolution for the 0ver turning of the bill of Rights, most importantly the Second Amendment with an executive order.

I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

Too many. Would only need a few dozen Corps-men to do the job.

Going to War If you're deciding whether to enlist in the National Guard, keep in mind that deployment to a combat zone is a possibility. This wasn't always true: during the Vietnam War, only a few Guard units deployed to the battlefield. After the war, the Pentagon decided the Guard should play a larger role in wartime and restructured the military accordingly. The 9/11 attacks intensified the change. As of 2018, more than 50 percent of the National Guard have combat experience.

We have to have 25,000 troops in Washington D.C because the crazies are out in force these days, It is sad because so many people like the D.C rioters believe the lies they have been told over the last 4 years, Trying to talk people down from a reality they have constructed from the lies of the last 4 years is like talking an advancing avalanche back up the mountain.
I have not seen one tiny bit of evidence that says Trump did not lose this election far and square. If people can believe a Q ANON conspiracy theory about who is really running the world why can`t these people believe that this is all a plan by Russia to do exactly what is happening in America right now.
I know you all think you know what is reality and what is going on, but you don`t. The evidence is all around you if you would only open your eyes.

. *Roughly 40% of those who join the military never get deployed to a combat zone at all. *10% to 20% of those who do find themselves on a deployment wind up in a combat zone. Remember, that is not 10 to 20% of the total. It is just 10 to 20% of the 60% who get deployed. *Most of the troops who do end up in combat zones do not actually enter combat against the enemy. They are support troops backing up those who do. *When you break it down, about one out of every 10 soldiers in the military -- 10% overall -- actually go to combat and have to fire their weapons.
That's for active duty military not guard units like I posted earlier..

Data scientists disagree with you. "The Data Integrity Group, a group of data scientists, has been dissecting publicly available data on the presidential election in multiple states. Most recently, in Pennsylvania, they found over 432,000 votes were removed from President Donald Trump in at least 15 counties. Time-series election data shows Trump’s votes decreasing in various counties at many time points, instead of increasing. In an election, as you count votes, you typically only see vote increments, not decrements—unless some error occurred that needs to be assessed. The group also testified before the Georgia Senate that more than 30,000 votes were removed from President Trump in Georgia." Excellent data details in the interviews. https://americanthoughtleaders.libs...lvania-election-data-scientists-20200105
