Make it a felony with harsh mandatory sentencing guidelines to knowingly employ an undocumented alien and the problem will go away as most people would be reluctant to risk a felony conviction.

It has been proven time and again that if you have a problem with vermin they will leave if you take away their food supply. Make it illegal to employ them and shut off the transfer of money from the U.S. to Mexico and the rest of the Central American Countries. No work, no money, no way to transfer money would make illegal entry into the U.S. a lot less desirable. There is a very large undocumented alien population in Nebraska, mostly Hispanic people who work in and around the meat packing industry.
