Spent some time shooting one today. Very Accurate and well built. Thinking I'd like one but it seems their hens teeth. Any one know where they might be in stock? Or where to find used in good condition?

I'm looking at one also. Which one did you shoot? I'd it have the 700mm slug liner

22 cal thought he said the barrel was a 600. Sported a Nightforce ATACR 4-16x50 . Amazed at how quiet it was with 22 cal pellets at just under 1000 fps and very accurate. Daniel commented about slugs and the liner .

I have one in 25 that hits hard right where you place it. JSB heavies is what it is tuned with. Buy once Cry once is the right way to look at it. And use a high quality scope. I have a 3-15X FFp SWFA scope. If you range it right, use a range (dope) card, and read the wind right, you will hit most of your targets. A pigeon on the power line makes an audible poof when you hit it at 125 yards. I use a suppressor from Donny FL. Try it you'll like it. The PCP guns are loud without a suppressor. And usually the balance point for accuracy stays away from 1100 to 1150 FPS because pellets don't like the trans-sonic speed zone. I have a slug barrel but I use this 700MM pellet barrel because I have so many of the JSB Heavies. I'm running around 965 FPS. The gun looks like a pig with the long barrel and large Donny on it. Be Well, RZ.

Thanks RZ , they are hard to find right now but did buy one today. FX mk2 Impact 700 mm 22 cal in black. Gonna start with a Bushnell Elite Tactical LRTS 4-16x44. Gonna order at least 1 extra mag and the donny FL . The owner of the FX I shot yesterday has offered me a compressor at a stupid low price along with some other accessories. 2 Day shipping but because of this glorious time we are living in right now we will see. Where do you buy your pellets?

Did watch a tuning session on youtube last evening . And revisited that South African chap hunting birds and monkeys at crazy distances with his FX.

I have had great customer service from utahairguns.com they usually have more in stock than their website shows so call them and ask. And they are usually pretty good at letting you know how long an item will be back ordered. Just checked their website and it’s showing a lot of 22 cal pellets in stock.

I was looking at the FX Impact myself, and almost ordered the Wildcat... but then noticed the Maverick! I ordered the Maverick, but long backorder list I’m told.

Southern Precision Air Weapons is where I was sent to by a couple businesses. Was told he" Ken Hicks" had gotten a shipment recently. Jason at Ohio Airguns has a Bronze FX Impact Mk2 in stock.

Just starting to look at a PCP rifle for hunting squirrels and varmint control around my place. Do PCP rifles not damage regular scopes like springers?

I have two .25 PCPs and they haven't damaged a scope yet. First one I have had for around seven years. The spring piston has a forward then backward recoil which isn't good on conventional scopes. Be Well, RZ.

Those Impacts are nice, I have the Crown in .22 it is very accurate and no complaints. I am thinking of trading up to the Impact in a 25.

So far I'm quite impressed . Kinda got a itch for a 30 cal FX Maverick shooting Nielsen 43.8 to 65.5 slugs. Just for chits and grins and pests too.

Sidepass what liner are you using for the Nielsen slugs?. I have the M3 or order and plan on shooting the JSB heavies but will eventually get into slugs.

Using the factory 700mm and shooting the NSA 28.5 grain .2165 slugs at 940 fps. The New FX's come with a barrel that shoots both pellets and slugs. The earlier versions needed a liner because of the choke in the pellet barrels.

Those new M3's are impressive . What caliber are you going with the 25?

Spent some time looking for a Maverick in 30 this week and looks like it will be an order and wait. Have a 100 cubic inch spare air bottle and if I add another pcp I'll grab a 66 cubic foot or larger bottle. Fuggers are not cheap with good regulators/fill whips. Praying my Yong Heng holds out for a bit, if I get a big bottle I'll fill it at a dive shop and keep it topped off with my Yong Heng. Kinda got my eye on a Alkin W31 or Maxx Air 35 too in the event the YH dies or I should say WHEN it dies.

The whole liner thing gets confusing . Ordered a superior liner and while talking to my friends at Utah Airguns I was told the barrel in my late model MK was good to go. But to keep the new liner around in the event I had barrel issues. I will be ordering those 28.5 NSA slugs in .217 , .2175 and .218 to compare accuracy performance. Honestly can't see how it could get any better than what the .2165 give me now. If they do I'll take it.

NSA has been getting me my orders within a week so I'm very happy with them. Hell I'm on the computer so I'll order them now.

Where did you order your M3 from If you don't mind me asking?

Ordered some 31.5 grain .217.5 while I was there to try out. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
