How do you get a picture from a 24hr image gallery to show in a new thread?
I have no problem getting pictures into an image gallery, but can't seem to get them into a thread outside the gallery.
Sounds like quite a few people are having the same issue. Maybe update the image gallery instructions with this detail.
Thanks.

Open your image gallery. Click on the picture you want to put in a post. When the picture opens, right click on it. Copy image location, or whatever is to that effect depending on your particular web browser. From there it's the same as Photobucket was. I assume you're familiar with those steps, but if not I can explain.

tk- I didn't want to add this to your empty meadow thread. When you use the Full Editor to reply, you'll get the below screen. I've circled the Insert Image Link in orange. Open the Insert Image Link and paste your image address into the pop up box. Your image will now appear in the thread rather than a link to the picture. If you want your pictures to be full sized, click on the picture in your Image Gallery so it opens in a new window. Then right click it to get the address. If you just right click on the pic without opening it up, it'll be smaller in your posts. Once your image address is added to your post, you can see it will show the size as medium or full and you can just change it there to have it shown as medium or full size in your post.

I've done that and all I get is a link to the image gallery. No photo shows up. I'm interested in the solution as well. Thanks.

I'm using a Macbook. I've tried it with both Firefox and Chrome. I see the photo in your post, just fine. Wonder what is going on? Edited to add: The photo shows up when I quote you, too.
