I Like the Kephart articles.

American Rifleman November 1932 has the test of the new chambering for the Winchester Model 54. Its a Dope Bag article, The .250 Savage Caliber Winchester
I had two .250 Savage rifles and every time I went to the range someone told me to have them reamed to Ackley Improved. So everyone needs a few 250 Improved articles. A good one to start in the Layne Simpson article: .250 Savage Improved from Handloader No. 316, October 2018.

These two Kephart articles are too good to not put up somewhere.
When I cropped these from the Google books edition it was just for reading. I shared the bolt action rifle article with some Beartooth guys. The Google books scans are not high quality and some pages are better than others.
I hope this encourages everyone to chase some of these old articles down. They are interesting reading.

And let us not ignore "The Spiteful Crack of the .250-3000" by Jim Bashline. One of the last stories Bashline wrote, it explains the roots of his fascination with the Savage rifle in .250-3000. Entertaining read, it's probably out there in internetland somewhere.

Really like the 250-3000 I own but I am looking for the second configuration in a 1920/26 chambered for the 300 Savage to compliment a 250-3000 first edition I have.

Will trade a 38-55 1894 for said a rifle...

Well, if your saving for the rifle you might as well put a little back for the sight.
