I ordered 4 pounds of Alliant powders from Powder Valley on the 6th. They had a notice on their website noting a backlog in shipping, indicating that orders from the 6th might not be shipped for a week.
They shipped my order on the 11th and UPS delivered it yesterday, the 13th. Both dates exceeded reasonable expectations IMHO.
This is the first time I have bought anything from Powder Valley, but it will not be the last.

They are a good outfit to support. Have used them many times without incident.

Through the years I've used Powder Valley quite a bit and I've never had a problem with them.......they're good to go in my book.

Since they can't get powder any better than anyone else, you'd think they'd be caught up with shipping by now. This has been a real mess.

I like 'em. I've got an order in the pipeline someplace. I also have an order in with Graf's from 12/22 - it hasn't shipped yet....

Since they can't get powder any better than anyone else, you'd think they'd be caught up with shipping by now. This has been a real mess. The morning of the 6th, they had zero Alliant powders. That evening, they had clearly gotten in a shipment of assorted Alliant powders; everything except Reloder 15 and Reloder 16 was still in stock. I ordered Reloder 10X and Reloder 17. By the morning of the 12th, most Alliant powders (except some very fast shotgun types) had sold out. They clearly got a batch of powder in on the 6th, and it went really fast (as one would expect right now).

They post a little snippet on their facebook page every few days. On the 15th they said they got most of the orders shipped from the 11th.
Yesterday they said they were removing primers from their website since they had none and had no clue when they'd get more in.
The 18th said they had got notice that Vista (Federal, CCI, Speer), Wichester, Berry's were all giving price increases, some were effective on backorders, some wouldn't be effective until a few months. Said supplies are coming in very slow, and the trend to them is downward.
