Quite a price tag to Americans paying for 26,000+ individual hotel rooms due to covid (no sharing), active duty pay for 26,000+, meals for 26,000+ each day, charter buses hired for weeks to shuttle them to and from hotels, some
Flew from All states and territories. Some
Were Puerto Rico and from Guam and Huge expense alone just for DC support not including the expenses for the other 50 state capitals. The plus side they have an unprecedented experience they can talk about for years, good time
For them to get equipment issued, paperwork done, and witness stuff some may have never ever seen in their lifetime. A lot of them have never stepped foot in the capital or seen anything in DC except On TV. So that’s a win. Hope Zac is home soon, they need to use their public works to get all the fencing and barricades removed and send these guys/gals home. ❤️🇺🇸❤️

What about the expenses of having FBI comb over the internet history and social media presence of 26,000 members of the military?
They are producing Brown Shirts or SS.
Bring in 25k, vetting and discharge of all that are extreme right wing (read gun owners, Republican voter) and the remainder is your trusted secret police and forbidden city guards.

And they don't seem happy to be the ones trapped between the people and the cabal.

Saw a snippet of a squad walking past a camera talking about..

Didn’t the previous president ask his supporters to march to the capitol? And and in consequence of the results of that the present security posture was needed?

Yes this is stupid that there had to be that much security.

The dems are sending a message. We can squash you and your own National Guard are going to do it if we say so.

Well it needs to be remembered that Biden, as a "President elect" could not order anything bigger then a pizza.

It was Trump that ordered the troops deployed. That all started a few days BEFORE Biden had any power.

Begs the question "Why"?

Why? I think the reason President Trump didn't take more aggressive action, such as declaring martial law or invoking the Insurrection Act is because he didn't have the support of the military. I think the military leaders were willing to disobey their commander in chief. He might not have known this until after they arrived in DC.

From Military,com:

"About 7,800 Guard personnel supported President Donald Trump's inauguration in 2016, but the restrictions under COVID-19 may mean that Biden's Jan. 20 inauguration is a smaller-scale event, Guard officials said in a Dec. 21 Army release."

Also, it looks like the Department of Homeland Security ordered the National Guard, not Trump. That from CNBC. However, they said that it was common practice for the NG to be present at Presidential Inaugurations. Just not in the numbers that were there this time.

Remember when Pres. Trump wanted a military parade in DeeCee? Remember the Pentagon telling him "Too expensive!! Can't do it!!". Well, there's been more than enough military around DeeCee for that parade.

Never forget: the Pentagon and it's inhabitants are the enemy of American citizens.
