Probably knocking em into the outfield for his great grand kids to chase.

All of a sudden boom...up and died.
That happened to mine too after the flu shot, except they were sick from it for a long time. One was normal, then it damaged her brain severely.

Hank has had health issues for a few years, including diabetes.

I met him causally a couple of times. When I shook his hand, I realized his “wrist” action they talked about. Giant hands, and fingers like Panatella cigars.

Humble and nice guy. Hank Aaron did his best to make you feel comfortable around him.

When I asked him about scouting various Braves as amateurs, he lit up and would talk about their tools and you’d think every one was a HOFer. I guess a few were. Gravimetric, Smoltz, Chipper, Murphy should be, Steve Avery, Kent Merker, Ron Gant, David Justice, Brian McCain even Freddie, Hank gave his blessing on all those draft choices and would tell you the exceptional tools he saw in them at 18.

Hank was an asset to Atlanta. He was ours. Yeah, Milwaukee and Mobile claim him, but he was ours.

Man, the good Lord is expanding his roster this year. Sutton, Whitey Ford, Kaline, Aaron, Lasorda on and on.
