Needs to be able to read close range for airgun and bow use ( 15yds ) and of course on out farther. Also, is it too much to ask for one that gives the same reading with multiple rangings on the same target?

I prefer to keep it under $300 if possible.

I’ve got a zeiss that was a demo i got from Doug a few years back.

Costco had a $200 GPO golf range finder that i think was good for 1600 yds.

We've got some Hawke Rangefinders that are a great option

I bought a used Leica 1600 a couple years back for ~$200. It is one of the few items that I own that if ever stolen or craps out that I will replace with the same or newer. I believe new ones run about $500.

Zero issues with Vortex Ranger.

Vortex rangers especially the 1000 series is junk if you actually use them in the field. At the price point the 1500 is there’s better ones.

The leupold tbr true range or whatever it’s called by leupold is good and fast for bow use.

The sig kilo 2200 and 2000 are super fast. Great for bow hunting.
