Just don't compare the 250gr OTM Booger's .682 BC,to the .284" 180 ELD's .796...and you'll be "fine".

Hint.................(grin)

Facts and Physics, reliably fhuqks with heads.

Hint................(grin)

I dig mine. Been an easy shooting rifle from the get go. Can’t run outta room even with Retumbo and RL33. Mostly used 175-195 stuff but if a guy were really wanting a complete hammer he’d have it throated to the 180 Hornady or whatever he planned to run and have a blast. Making brass is a cinch and it’s head spaced on point from the start.

On a .532" L/A 700 Donor,I'd stay 7mm RemMag.

Hell...a 22" 7-08 with a 180,stays supersonic to the 1760yd line,in this morning's atmosphere and it happens to be a platform,that a guy will actually use.

A lot.................(grin)

Though I have a few big boomers if I was building one now it would be damn hard not to start and stop at 28 Nosler or 7mm-300wm. The 180 ELD and 195 Berger are simply giant killers in every way.

A 7RM doesn’t such so throated either

Tough to grab a L/A...when a 7 Whizzum will squirt the 180 ELD at 2900fps+.................(grin)

My 340 will eventually turn into a 7mm, especially if I cant get it to shoot any better than it has. Just cant find what it likes as of yet. And Big stick I agree, I have a 6.5/06 that i built that gets the majority of attention. Sweet shooter and is fun.

And before I see one, i dont want to hear "its the shooter not the gun" or "its too big of a gun for ya" i get it, but I can shoot. Just give a guy the benefit of the doubt, Ive been shooting big guns my whole life and I can tell when I am fucqing it up lol

I have also picked up some 210 swift scirrocos on sale awhile back that I am going to tinker with for it, I just have a partial box of 250 vlds to play with. It does shoot 250 accubonds MOA or so, but I am never satisfied...
