Those laws are not Constitutional. He can declare all he wants but enforcement is going to be a bitch. They will be passed, enforced and remain Constitutional until such time that the courts rule them otherwise. As we have seen over the past few years, judge shopping is a very popular and successful technique used by the left to get their desired results. The Supreme Court will either refuse to hear these cases, uphold the lower court rulings, or change the legislation wording to make it constitutional. They have been planning for this moment for decades, now that they now longer have to concern themselves with public opinion, campaigning and those pesky elections, it’s time to pounce, especially now that they have Roberts and other members of the SC in their back pocket.

First as has been mentioned, they don't have to confiscate anything, just make new unavailable and the existing unusable by making so you can take it hunt or shoot unless you happen to own remote land to do it on unobserved.
Secondly if they make buying ammo and components only from licensed dealers with limits and taxes it will get nearly impossible to feed anything much hungrier than a bolt gun.
Lastly, SCOTUS is terrified of being regulated to obscurity by court packing, so don't expect help on the 2A until one of the houses ( hopefully the senate) can be flipped.

Here is something for those that live in States that have "legalized" Marijuana to think about.
Marijuana is still illegal according to the Federal Government, it is still a Class I Controlled Substance.
It is a Felony to be in possession of Firearms or ammunition and be a user of Marijuana or in possession of Marijuana, yes, even Medical Marijuana.
The Courts have ruled that it is even illegal, a Felony, to be in possession of a firearm and a simple Marijuana Medical Card.
So now that Biden/ McConnell are going to pass outrageous over-reaching anti-gun legislation look for them to pounce on this.
They wont even have to pass new legislation, just cross reference, Hunting Licenses with medical marijuana cards, purchases at the local pot shop, internet searches, and whatever spying techniques they have in place and Presto Instant Felon and no more firearms.
Think it cant happen?

I am sure it can happen, They won't have to make anyone a felon, just write a directive to put anyone who has a MM card on the NCIS list. They could also hire a few hundred folks to review internet posts to look for "threats of violence or seditious statements" and put those folks on the list. Best is that they could make a background check/or license necessary to buy ammo/components so they can bar the purchase/possession but also the use of firearms. Sure you don't have to comply, but what good are guns buried in your back yard that you can't procure ammo for.
