That's interesting. Leupold's website isn't showing them.

Their site hasn't been updated yet which is why our web site also have not been updated with these new models (our web builder gets details from the mfg's site). These scopes have started shipping from Leupold and we have them on the way in for any and all that are looking

Oh, this reminds me. Ask your web builder to include the amount of elevation travel a scope has in the specs, especially the ones with knobs, please.

An important bit of info IMO that's usually missing, especially for the Meoptas.

I’m sure they redesigned the erector with a more robust design to justify the price increase........NOT!

“We also gave it match-grade repeatability”

Sounds legit.

Doug,
Are you aware of any changes to the 5/6HD lines? These 3HD scopes sure seem to be stepping on the toes of the more expensive lines.

Then why the HD designation? Oh. You’re referring to the 5/6 line. Does the 3HD actually have HD glass?

I am pretty sure HD is just a name. There is no optical industry standard for it, just sounds good.

The HD version does have improved glass but no erector changes per Leupold. Doug accepts preorders.......

May be, the Wiz-Kids from Leupold can come back on here and tell us all how great they are.

I bought three of the VX-3i's recently for future projects cause the new one looks cheap and tacticool. The worse that can happen is they replace it with the HD model. Whoever makes these choices at Leupold needs a good switchin'
