In the middle of a build and am looking for a new Remington 700 left hand long action .473 bolt face. I have bought two but each time they cancelled my order due to them being unable to fill my order. I know it’s a long shot but figured I would ask

Got a short action Stiller Tac 30, but no long action.
Imagine a corporate oligarchy so effective, so advanced and fine tuned that its citizens still call it a democracy.

I have a used left hand long action with correct bolt. If you can’t find new let me know and I’ll send you the info. Bolt has been fluted, faced squared and action slab sided

They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

ETA: Bidder is a NR - Shocker.... If your referring to the 700 short action that is my auction. Thought since Remington went belly up the timing might be good to sell. No idea who bid on it already but in 15 years or so have never been stiffed in a sale yet. And please don’t think for a second I would have a shill bidder. No way would I want to pay Gunbrokers auction fees for a non sale. Makes no sense at all. In the last 6 months have noticed more and more new bidders on Gunbrokers. I’ll update this thread once it sells and when (if) payment is received. Left hand rifles and small revolvers have gone crazy on Gunbrokers as of late.

Not sure if it is the Remington bankruptcy? Or, the changing of the political establishment? Or ???? But, Left Hand bolt rifles on GB have been getting really pricey of late. LH Rem 700 SPS rifle (.223) sold for over $1200 earlier today. The LH Zastava rifles that always languished in the $600, $700, $800 price range are now selling briskly for well over $1,000...

I'd be on Defiance or another custom action website myself with those kind of prices.

I wanted to buy it but felt like it was going to go real high so I quit following it. I should have bumped him a couple of times.

Stopped at a Fleet n Farm store in Ankeny, IA today. I saw 4 LH Savage Axis on the rack a.243 a 308 a 270 and a .30-06. I think they've been there since Christ was a kid.

I guess I need to get out more. Have been browsing locally for an inexpensive LH 223 bolt rifle for a while (SPS, RAR, etc). nada... Might be time to bite the bullet and do a day trip down to SAS's Toy Store...

Also saw plenty of .280 Rem 7mm mag .270 and .300 WSM ammo.
They have another YUGE new store about 15 miles from the Ankeny store so I may check that out in a week or so. Last time I was there they had nuttin I wanted and a 2 box per caliber limit on ammo. Seems like if I luck into a lefty .223 I should snag it. the Sportsman's Warehouse in Ankeny had nothing to interest me.All of their long guns are behind the counter. Last visit there I snagged a box of Barnes 6.5mm 127 LRX for a fair price.
At F & F the long guns [sans bolt] are out on a rack where you can pick them up and handle them. There is also a Bass Pro and a Scheels in the area, but I usually don't go there.
