I’m looking for a Barrett Fieldcraft in 6.5 Creedmoor and another in .270 Win. Willing to $1250 if used, $1400 if unfired. I will NOT pay inflated scalper prices!! I’m sure you understand.

I don’t care for them. That’s why I tripped it. Bolt doesn’t lock. Bolt stroke sucks. Timneys are lame. Chin weld if you don’t run talleys.

But man they shoot, and built right, and are light.

Had a 6.5 recently in hand with that was 1450$ And if it wasn’t new I didn’t see a blemish. I knew it’d go for 2+ on the broker but wheeling a dealing isn’t my thing.

They’re bringing 2k plus.

Don’t feel bad. I thought for sure Whittaker’s would have to come off their price of $1500 ish to sell their last few . Wrong!

I was really wanting another LA like 25/06 or 30/06

I have two 22/250s and have been kicking around the idea of trading one of them for another Fieldcraft .

My Fieldcraft 270 shoots 5/8 inch at 100 yards with factory Barnes and under an inch with HSM 150 gr VLD's.

If you could find one new they are going $2k, 3 or so years ago you could find a used one for $1200-$1300 but those days are gone.

$2K wouldn’t get mine.

The Bergara Premier Mountain V2 looks good, as it should for $2100. Still, it’s an option for those who missed out on FCs. Howa Alpines are still around for $1100-$1200, but all appear to be DM models, so you have to add in the price of a floorplate if you want one. Neither are as light as the FC.

I agree for what’s out there they are starting to seem like a bargain even at 2k.

I'm looking for US $20 gold eagles, willing to pay up to $30 but no more. I won't deal with scalpers.

If we all just stop paying inflated prices, the gougers will have no choice but to lower prices!!

My 6.5 X 55 is boring to shoot, shoots most anything into a 1/2" or less, 120 Nosler BT in the 3's, it is the most accurate rifle I've ever owned. I bought it new and with sales tax, shipping. and FFL transfer I'm in over $1800.00. It's not leaving here for $1250.00! You snooze, you loose!
