Put this in the Big Game section yesterday. One of our back yard bucks Cookie nailed in the morning.

Stealing bitterbrush. Not bad when one can count whiskers.

I actually sent that picture to the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission. They said that is was a run in with a big cat. Tough old doe, I'd say.
That picture was in the early fall of 2014.

Cookie has some similar images of a pronghorn with leakage on both the left and right hip. I too suspected a big cat.

Rooted through some of Cookie's ancient files. Cat encounter? Left and right sides of same animal.

Not the best images, especially the first, due to both heat waves and shading, but looks like something came close to making a successful grab on the hips.

Animal or barbed wire?

Looks more like an animal.....but I have heard barbed wire can be an issue.
