Not even close, Pancakes,,,,,

Scratch made Buttermilk's, batter so thick the finished product is at least a half inch high

splat of real butter melting on top in the Pure maple syrup........

It's what starts great weekends.

I did the test today. Waffles all the way. I froze the extras to test the process.

If it's made at home, it's French toast from sourdough bread and pure maple syrup, the other two on rare occasions

Pancakes for me! I can choke down an Eggo toaster waffle if I'm in a hurry.

I have been having two or three flapjacks here lately for breakfast. I really like blueberry syrup!

I’m a bacon and eggs man. Hash browns and homemade biscuits if you insist on carbs for breakfast.

It depends if you know who to make them right... if so - YES

Over beaten pancake batter ... BLACH...
Not cooked at right temp -... Double BLACH
No “light oil” around the edge of the pancake to make the edge crispy... bland o la
No added fruit - good lord.

Waffles - the temp is normally regulated so it’s not as much of a problem, and yocals tend to put some oil in the batter or on the griddle so you get smoe crisp to them.

But you can still screw up the rest.

For me - Pancakes because they are easier to make, and less mess to clean up.

Either pancakes or waffles are fine with me as long as there is plenty of good quality bacon to go with it.

Over easy eggs and ponhorse fried really thin and crisp this week. Got two pans from a buddy that butchered over the weekend.
