I picked up some Lapua brass for 6.5 creedmoor without realizing it used small rifle primers. Digging through my stash of stuff I see I'm out of regular Federal 205 match primers (oops). I don't think I have any WSRs though I'll check again. I've got the AR version of the 205M and Remington 7-1/2s. Which would you choose?

I'd choose the ones that give me the best ES, SD, and groups.

Under normal circumstances I'd try both but with bullet supply and powder supply limited to what I have on hand now and having to last for the foreseeable future, I'm hesitant to fire a shot I don't really have to thus the question about which would be the best to try first. Times now .. instead of worrying about best, I need to find good enough and be done with it. frown

Then follow Mathman's advice, and use the 7.5s. They are plenty warm enough with a thick enough cup.
