I tried it out. I actually frequent one of the businesses based on their products and performance. I've never heard of any of the others and don't plan to use them.

I'm using google for a homepage...doesn't show up. So then I typed in:find black owned businesses near me...nuttin. So then I typed it again northern CA, came up: San Francisco 312 mi south on I-5. No good. So then I thought, asking too much, typed in black business zip 96097 (the county seat): bingo, a hit, Black, Chapman, Webber and Stevens..a lily white law firm by the courthouse. If I was black, I'd be pissed.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Seems like a good way to know which businesses to avoid? That was my first thought. I wonder how it will work out? Just switched to DuckDuckGo.
