I've got a Camp Chef, the thing is a beast and the best bang for your buck out there. I paid $200.

Rocks in my 14x17 wall tent. Heavy duty sob.

Made in USA costs a little more but better than having chinese stuff in my camp which I do my best to avoid. Cylinder makes a great stove.

Thanks all !

KC , I have a Ti-Goat titanium woodstove , compact and very nice at the end of the day . It was $185 about 11-12 years ago .
That Lite Outdoors looks nice .

Stove I'm inquiring about - for a medium tent or to heat a room or two in an emergency .

Type 2 GI pot belly stove or a mil-surp Yukon stove with mogas burner.

If you want something more substantial you can get the hardware kit to build a barrel stove. It only take an hour or so. The only tools needed are a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade, a drill, flathead screwdriver and a small Crescent wranch.

Anybody seen heavy metal pipes cooled around a wood stove. They open at below and above the stove. Natural convection draws airs and moves it making it much more efficient.

You guys with indoor stoves have outside fresh air vents?

I have a fresh-air intake in the furnace room, plus the house isn't so tight it can't breathe.

We have a wood stove in the house and don't have any extra venting. It works very well too. There are times when I first build a fire I need to open a window slightly so it will draw and not smoke up the house, while the door is open on the stove. After the flue starts to warm it draws with that window shut. Most homes are not so air tight to not let some air in.
