Good luck with that. There was a horrible ice storm in Western KY about this time of year when Obama was elected. Turned half the state into what looked like a war zone for several months. FEMA was nowhere to be seen and Obama basically told the state to go fucqk itself. Never even made the national news. Changing the narrative is nearly impossible when one side controls it exclusively.

Remember the flood of 2007 that hit Burnet co Texas so bad. We had FHWA and FEMA guys inspecting roadway and bridge structure damage with our engineers and maintenance personnel. When a TV news crew would come on the scene the FEMA staff would literally run over anyone in their path for an interview and photo op. All we could do was shake our heads. We really didn’t understand why they were even out with the crews. Because they stated they could offer us no assistance at any site they were taken. FHWA guys went above and beyond.
