Nice fish! Never caught one that big. Longarm or not. It's a beast!

Sometimes we could slay them for hours on the Cololrado just north of Parker Dam - small boat drifting - and would get a big one now and then - but never anything near that size. Whopper !! Once when cutting westward from eye 5 to get over to Santa Rosa, the road took us past Clear Lake and I wondered about the fishing. Now i know. Wonder if ever I will get there - one daughter lives in Marin - maybe can get it done.

Vals,
Yes Clear Lake is ranked no 1 in the United States for bass fishing year in year out. 100 fish days of 4 to 5 pounders is common. And your chances to land a double digit are very high.
