One of my absolute best pals here in town is black, and huge firearms enthusiast. He is a country lad, and hunts, fishes, and camps with the best of us. He is a pretty fair gunsmith and he reloads. He works hard, owns his own property, and has no debt.
My pal voted for Trump, never voted for barack or hillary, is college educated, a Marine combat veteran. His kids are good, conservative country kids. His wife is a medical professional.
Not all black folks fit the common assumptions.

Measuring people by the color of their skin is not a good yardstick. A man has no control over the color of his skin. The things he values in his life determine his worth.

My dad was not a hunter... knew virtually nothing about firearms... he was a life insurance salesman and believed very much that helping a man provide for his family after he died... was his calling from God.
I was 14 or 15 and my father introduced me to one of his insurance clients. An older gentleman that taught me how about firearms and how to hunt. He and his wife had a son but his son was older than I and had already moved away from home. The older gentleman and his wife took a real shine to me... I reckon they liked having a boy around the place. They would invite me in for a sandwich at lunch time. The older man was poorer than us... and had a strange house (compared to mine) with shelving on every wall... floor to ceiling.
Sometimes after I had finished my sandwich and glass of milk the man would show me the trophies on the shelves.
"My son won this one when he was 12 years old at a tournament in Richmond... and this one he won in New York when he was only 15... and this one he won over in England at a place called Wimbledon."
He was proud to show me... his name was Mr. Arthur Ashe Sr.
I knew nothing about his son until later when I asked my dad.

Not that our black population is all that high here, but I have never seen a black person at a gun show, sport show or at the range. Windfall, I see a lot of blacks at gun shows and LGS's here. Unfortunately, some of them are still voting democrat. MANY are not.

One way to look at it the more black folks we get on the 2nd amendment side we might be better off! The Democrats are all black favoritism!

Lots of blacks are firearm enthusiasts. Who do you think is shooting up Chicago every weekend? Perhaps you've confused "Enthusiastically Shooting" with "Shooting Enthusiast". (grin) Chicago definitely is in the first category.
