Even Ballistic products stops at 2 1/4 oz. I'd rather keep the velocity over 1200 and stay at 2 oz even myself. Mb

walkerman-
I checked my library and found no reloading data for 2-1/2 oz 10-gauge loads, but did find three recipes for 2-3/8 oz loads, which is pretty close to 2.5 oz.

The source of the table below is a 2005 book,[i]Reloading for Shotgunners{/i], Fifth edition, by Rick Sapp, Sapp compiled data from many different sources, but did not identify the source of any particular load. I suspect the original source that developed and pressure-tested the loads for the data in the table below is from the 1980s. The pressure units are LUP. Two of the recipes use Hornady plastic wads, which have not been manufactured for several decades.

The powder, SR-4756, was discontinued in 2016, but there are undoubtedly shooters who have some stashed away.

Remington SP-10 wads are apparently subject to the current shortage of reloading components.

(Possibly this load was developed by orthopedic surgeons hoping to enhance their retirement account.)

God Bless your shoulder. I have a box of 2 OZ #2 shot Remingtons from the ol days when it was OK in the goose fields. Those Shells are boomers.

I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......
