glad i never got on that stuff. cigs, cigars are hard enough to stay kicked. i could burn a pack of reds tonight if i didn't give a schit anymore. getting kind of there anyway but my cheapness helps a lot. when i was in the AF, the commissary had reds for $2.25 a carton. then they decided to quit subsidizing them and the price doubled. quit for a long time and then got on the cigar kick. what a friggen mistake. i love them things. gotta be strong though cause i can't just puff. if i'm smoking, i'm gunning them things. its hard when i'm around guys who like to do cigars casually. ain't no casual for me. tobaccoholic.

Bro Beavious, I just happened to stop at the C-store.

Pretty sure one of the two items purchased will get me sooner or later.....

Holy crap, you and me both. I remember being about 16 when me and a few of my buds went into a convenience store and bought some kind of dip. Can't remember exactly which one. To show off, I packed my entire upper and lower lip full. That right there cured me.

Haven't had a chew or dip in 28 years and still miss it every day. I'd dip till my lip got a canker sore then I'd chew till it went away and then I would start dipping again.

Only chewing tobacco I ever tried and halfway liked was Beechnut and Redman. Skoal and the like was just too...sharp, I guess?

Glad I never got hooked. I have an uncle who chewed forever and ended up with cancer. His cheek looks like a patchwork quilt and he can't talk as well as he used to.

It is amazing. Tobacco killed my dad at 66. And his last 10-12 years were not very pretty. No [bleep] way I’d ever touch the stuff.

I chewed a can of Copenhagen a day, every day for 30 years. I quit 4 or 5 years ago, and am glad that I did, but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss it.
