Built by Don Allen and Pete Grissel before Dakota Arms came into existence, circa 1980. It shoots fine. Previous owner had shot it very little and his son sold it after he passed. Been in my care since about 2012 +/-

Didgit Dan that is the most wonderful wood figure on this " mauser?"

Why do you have the scope on that tall of rings?

Thanks

Nah, I’m saving my pennies to have a nice retirement gift put together. Just not quite sure of the details yet.

Please don't think I am trying to do any thing but learn. I am ignorant,

So what does being 6 2 have to do with your deal?

Is it because you can't get a lower cheek " weld?"

You guys better keep an eye on this one and its provenance. This .275 Rigby will be worth a mint when I eventually croak off.... laugh

Biggest thing since Corbetts or Bells Rigby... grin

It's always great when we get to the "my wood is better" and "my screws are better" stage.....

I noticed that too, plus the screws weren't all parallel .

No sights, frond too long, no barrel band sling swivel,

Conventional cheekpiece, rather than British

Black butt pad, rather than English Red..

No Rev. Mike...this rifle is not for me.

I'll keep my Swede...

Spearmint or Peppermint?

Or is it "What would you do for a .275 Rigby" but in the Klondike Bar way.

I'm curious as to how the value was determined to be $15K. Did they just pick an outrageous number? You can have a real nice custom rifle built for a third of that. IMHO JOC provenance doesn't add $10K of value.
