I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Nice gun. My father had one just like it and was my first gun. You might want to mention that this is a “red letter” version. Should help with the sale.

I've had this in my safe for a very long time. At first I was going to give it to one of my kids, it turns out they like 12 gauges. Then I thought my wife could shoot it. Now, I'm getting a semi-auto 20 gauge for her. Red letter huh. Thanks

Dad had one that I graduated to from my H&R Topper .410. I liked it. Shot a pheasant across the road, in town with it one time. On ours the hammer was rather slick to get a grip on if you had cocked it on the way up only to find that the bird was a hen and had to lower it back down. We always made very sure that the barrel was pointed down at the ground if we needed to do so. (Good advice no matter what.) It did slip away from me one time doing this. Probably was a good experience as I became a real old lady about gun safety.

Is the stock finish original? I don't know but that finish looks to me to be linseed oil. The stock doesn't look sanded though.

My first shotgun was a 20 gauge break open also. I gave it to my younger sister who's killed many of varmints around their farm with it.

Buyer backed out. So it's for sale again.
